Electrician in Rockaway, NJ
Trapani Electric is a licensed electrician serving Rockaway Borough and Rockaway Township, NJ. We handle panel upgrades, lake community rewiring, EV chargers, generators, and emergency repairs.
Panel Upgrades Around White Meadow Lake
Rockaway is made up of two municipalities, the borough along the Rockaway River and the much larger township that surrounds it. Trapani Electric works in both.
The lake communities are in the township, and White Meadow Lake in particular has an electrical history that affects many of its homes. It was laid out in 1946 and sold largely as summer property, so a good share of those houses began as seasonal cottages and were winterized later. The original service was sized for a fan and a refrigerator rather than for central air, a well pump, and an EV in the driveway. Erik performs the load calculation, upgrades the service, and arranges the inspection.
Electrical Services in Rockaway
In Rockaway we most often install 100 to 200 amp panel upgrades and service changes, subpanels for additions and detached garages, rewiring in converted seasonal homes, well pump and septic circuits, EV chargers, standby generators, recessed lighting, ceiling fans, hardwired smoke and CO detectors, and whole-house surge protection.
Rockaway loses power in storms like the rest of Morris County, so generator work is steady here. Erik sizes each unit to the load you actually need to run rather than to the largest model available.

What Customers Say
If you want a white glove, top notch, professional electrician this is who you need. Caught a bunch of safety issues that were overlooked on other inspections. Prices are fair and he's honest and to the point!
Erik came over a few weeks ago to adjust some outlets for me. He took the time to understand what I needed and was able to clearly walk me through my options. He was down to earth, kind, respectful, and professional. Will definitely hire him again as needed.
After a storm damaged our outdoor wiring harness, we hired Erik to fix the issue. He did an outstanding job, demonstrating thoroughness and expertise. I highly recommend Erik to anyone in need of an electrician.
